Serving
Service helps shape us to be more like Jesus. We want our service to bless others and be impactful to those we serve, but ultimately, we want to become more like Jesus. As you faithfully follow Jesus with your Hurstbourne family, there are many ways you can serve. All of our weekly ministries have places where you can serve, and our ministry leaders would be glad to talk with you. Beyond that, many of our church members serve with ministries in Louisville and the surrounding area and have a heart to make Jesus known. Membership
If God has stirred an interest in your heart to consider Hurstbourne as the place where you will covenant with other Jesus followers to proclaim the truth of the gospel and faithfully serve Jesus, one of our Pastors would love to talk with you about that.
Also, each month we have an Exploring Membership Lunch where you can find out more information about Hurstbourne and ask any questions that you might have. We are thankful that God has brought you to Hurstbourne. Sunday School
Sunday School is our primary group Bible study ministry for all ages. Sunday School meets from 9:30am-10:30am on Sundays in groups all over our building. These Sunday School groups encourage active learning and personal application of the Bible, and they help people form supportive friendships around the Word of God.
Wednesday Nights
During the school year, Wednesday Nights are an important mid-week stop at Hurstbourne. On Wednesday Nights, we offer a meal, Prayer Meeting, short-term Bible studies, Kids Ministry activities, Student Ministry activities, and Worship Ministry rehearsals. Our goal with Wednesday Nights is to provide a Christ-centered place to connect, learn, and serve.
